A Private, Non-Profit Community Action Agency

About Us

Community Action Council is a private, non-profit 501c(3) agency governed by a volunteer Board of Directors representing the public and private sectors of our target population. We have effectively provided essential human services in Lewis, Mason and Thurston Counties since 1966. Our multi-purpose organization focuses on meeting the needs of low-income individuals and families through a variety of programs designed to help them become independent and more self-sufficient. The Council continues working collaboratively to develop strategies that address poverty in our communities.
