Energy Assistance Program Update -
October 23, 2008

Please note that all energy assistance is provided on
a first come, first serve basis. Our policy is to make these
appointments over the phone or through this website (link on home
page), first come-first serve. To be fair to all
applying, we do not make appointments electronically by e-mail nor do we
return calls to do so.
Due to staff availability and FAIR ACCESS to all
applicants, no walk-in appointments will be made for the week of Oct. 27th
thru the 31st.
Households without heat of
any kind or have had their electricity or natural gas SHUT OFF,
please call for additional information and assistance.

Thurston County |
|
We anticipate that the Low-Income Home Energy
Assistance Program (LIHEAP) and the PSE-HELP Program will begin
scheduling appointments Tuesday, October 28, 2008 at 8:00 AM based on funding authorization confirmation.
Due to staff availability and
FAIR ACCESS to all applicants, no walk-in appointments will be made for the
week of Oct. 27th thru the 31st.
Households are encouraged to periodically call for
funding updates.

|
We anticipate that the Low-Income Home Energy
Assistance Program (LIHEAP) will begin scheduling appointments
Thursday, October 30, 2008 at 8:00 AM based on funding authorization confirmation.

week of Oct. 27th thru the 31st.
Households are encouraged to periodically call for
funding updates.

Utility assistance funds in Mason county are still available.
PUD and Cascade Natural Gas
customers in Mason county may be eligible for emergency energy assistance.
Inquiries should be directed to our Shelton office at (360) 426-9726.
